Description KDE 2016-09-17 17:11:16 UTC
If you use the hotkey to send mail (Ctrl-Enter) when "Send Confirmation" is enabled, KMail freezes, but only if the spell check dialog is displayed. If there are no spelling errors found, or the "Send" button is used, no error is encountered (as it doesn't need to display the confirmation I assume).

It also seems to ignore the "Confirm Send" setting in outgoing mail settings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enable spell checking
2.Create email with spelling error.
3.Use "Ctrl-Enter" to send email.
4.Correct or ignore spelling error.
5. Send confirmation dialog will not send, cancel, or close. Eventually it will be able to close.

Actual Results:
Send confirmation dialog will not send, cancel, or close. Eventually it will be able to close.

You can work around this when it eventually comes back by clicking the "Send" button in the composer.

Expected Results:
If the "Send" button in the confirmation is clicked, the mail should send, otehrwise you should return to the composer.

I have the same problem, except, it isn't just if the hotkey is used. It happens anytime the spell-check is invoked.

Same problem my side. I jsut tested a spell check before sending it even happens then. It's not an every time event though... Once or twice it has done a spell check and completed and sent successfully so I will try to keep track of what I do each time and hopefully narrow down the exact replication steps.
