The application hangs when doing an few things in animation.  I'm working at 4K.  Simple things like sketching, and canvas navigation.  Hangs for about 3 to 4 seconds, then returns to be usable.

No way to reproduce as it's intermittent.

Does it make a difference if you disable Instant Preview?

Hi I still get this problem, and the duplicate's solution is really only for linux users.

Looks like it might be autosave? You could try to disable that. And make sure that you're not accidentally using a 32 bits/floating point colorspace. 

In any case, in we're working on making autosave happens in the background, and that's already working in what will become krita 4.0.
