Description mattcorbyny 2016-09-13 01:48:49 UTC
When doing a single tap using a wacom pen, nothing happens. This is inconsistent with how the mouse works - a single mouse click will result in a brushstroke. This is problem makes pixel art extremely inconvenient to do with a wacom tablet.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose any brush.
2. Tap the wacom pen to the canvas without dragging it across the screen.
3. When the wacom pen is off the screen, if it was not dragged, no pixels have changed.

Actual Results:
Nothing.

Expected Results:
A single dot.

Using an HP Elitebook 2760p Wacom laptop. Krita has enough features to make a great pixel editor, and this is the one thing that is a real deal-breaker.

It works here with the ordinary pixel brush. With some brush engines, like the hairy brush, this cannot work because that brush engine draws lines, not dots. Which brush did you try to use?

I tried it with the pixel1 brush and a few others, and they all had the same problem. I just now tried a few more brushes, and found that the PixelArt_Square brush works properly with the tablet, in that it can draw a dot with a single tap of the pen.

Sorry, it works for me, even with the pixel1 brush.
