Description Marius Roets 2016-09-12 12:33:21 UTC
When in VI-mode and the option "Let Vi commands override Kate shortcuts" is checked, Control-Tab does not work. When the "Let Vi commands override Kate shortcuts" is unchecked, Control-Tab works again. This behaviour was not present in KDevelop 4.*

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select "VI Input Mode" as the Input mode
2. Under Settings/Editor/Editing/Vi Input Mode, check "Let Vi commands override Kate shortcuts"
3. In the editor, with multiple tabs open, press Control-Tab.

Actual Results:
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:
Popup with list of open files (Last Used Views)

I have now noticed that many (all?) KDevelop shortcuts does not work in this scenario. Ctrl-W (close tabs), Ctrl-Alt-O (Quick open), Ctrl-Alt-N (Outline) to name just a few.

I can't reproduce this. Ctrl+tab and all the others work for me in all modes (normal, insert, visual).Maybe it's been fixed since the report?

Plasma 5.9
Kdevelop 5.1
KF 5.32.0

Works fine for me as well. Assuming fixed.
