Doing any calculations (example : 2+2) results in krunner crashing

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open krunner
2. type 2+2 with calculator plugin enabled
3. enjoy the crashing

Actual Results:
Crashing but result is calculated successfully before disappearing

Expected Results:
The result should be displayed as usual

Joel, can you please check if this still happens with the Contacts runner disabled? You can disable it by opening krunner, clicking on the settings button left of krunner's text field, and unchecking "Contacts" (alternatively, "System settings" -> "Search" -> "Contacts"). I think that this is a duplicate of bug 364342, which is fixed in KDE Applications 16.08.1. It seems unrelated at first glance, but crashing during simple calculations is how the bug manifested for me, too.

If krunner still crashes with the Contacts runner disabled, please add a stack trace and state the version of your KDE Applications. The crashing component might not be part of the Plasma suite.

Sorry, the bug I referred to is not fixed in 16.08.1, but in 16.08.2, so using the latest KDE Apps would not help (yet).

Hey Denis,
You are right this is a duplicate of bug 364342 and krunner does not crash anymore with the Contacts plugin disabled although like you said it was an odd thing to cause crashing with calculations. I put the status of the bug as resolved and duplicate of 364342.
