Description Dimitris Kardarakos 2016-09-09 12:24:11 UTC
Clicking to File > Download New Vocabularies, I get no collections at all. In UI I see "Network Error" while in console:
ProviderManager::authenticate: No authentication credentials provided, aborting. "https://api.opendesktop.org/v1/content/categories"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click to File > Download New Vocabularies
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Network error

Expected Results:
Collections to be listed

Please test again, should work now. However, for now you have to select "Parley" specifically as category. (at the right).
There is a pending review for GHNS that will also fix this.

Yes, a set of vocabularies is retrieved now, after selecting any option (Parley or KWordQuiz). Nevertheless, a quite different record set from the one found in KDE Store > Parley > Parley Vocabularies (https://store.kde.org/browse/cat/216/ord/latest/). So, there are multiple vocabulary repositories, right?

I have created this patch https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/129834/ in terms of this issue.

You may review it and check if it fits our needs :)

Does this also fix the "Scripts" download? See bug 376400.

I have no idea that script downloadind functionality exists. Thus, probably, my intention to switch vocabulary downloading endpoint to kde store, is not related with this.
