Choose an application that is installed on the system, then click on "Open" button. The selected application will not start

Can you try to run it from the console and see if there's anything there?

Can somebody on Fedora check if it's working on Plasma 5.8?

plasma-discover-5.7.5-1.fc24.x86_64 no longer has "Open" button

Now we're not showing the button if we don't have anything to show.
