I have a dual monitor setup. After logging out, on the next log in, the configuration for the leftmost monitor is applied to the rightmost one, and the leftmost monitor is set to standard (desktop view, default wallpaper) instead of my settings. Widgets that were on the leftmost desktop now appear on the rightmost one. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. set up two monitors with distinct configurations 2. log out 3. log in again Actual Results: The configuration for the monitor on the left will be applied to the monitor on the right The monitor on the left will be set to default Expected Results: I expected both monitors to be set as I had left them before logging out.
I can confirm this behavior on Plasma 5.8.3 on Arch Linux with the free radeon driver.
This issue could be transferred to the 'Desktop Containment' component
Is this still happening in Plasma 5.17 or the 5.18 beta?
