Description Pascal d'Hermilly 2016-09-08 13:29:30 UTC
It would be nice if there was a way to enable automatic updates.
If I right click on the updates icon in the systray and click "Update settings" I get a "keyboard shortcuts" dialog.
If there is a place to enable automatic updates it is not easily found.
How about also making it available through a toggle button in the plasma widget popup that appears when you click the updates icon.

Reproducible: Always

Also in my whishlist. As KDE neon by default doesn't even check for new updates one has to initiate that also manually, see also: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=309&t=136620

agreed with both comments

Can someone please comment? There would be various ways to do this on Ubuntu, see:

Any chance you could add such a feature to KDE Discover?

Any update on this request (no pun intended)?
Comment 5 Christoph Feck 2017-07-17 03:06:25 UTC
Is this a feature request for Discover, or for the neon distribution packaging?

I my view this is Neon packaging/plumbing.
There is an LTS - it should be easy to tell it to just keep the system up to date. In Kubuntu it was ticking a checkbox and it took care of things.

Any progress?
