Description Jasem Mutlaq 2016-09-06 08:54:58 UTC
I can't install sqlitebrowser I get the following error:

sqlitebrowser : Depends: libqt5scintilla2-12v5 (>= 2.8.4) but it is not going to be installed

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libqt5scintilla2-12v5 : Depends: libqt5core5a (>= 5.4.0) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqt5gui5 (>= 5.0.2) but it is not going to be installed or
libqt5gui5-gles (>= 5.0.2) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqt5printsupport5 (>= 5.0.2) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libqt5widgets5 (>= 5.2.0) but it is not going to be installed

Reproducible: Always

libqt5core5a : Breaks: libqt5scintilla2-12v5 (< 2.9.2+dfsg-2~) but 2.9.1+dfsg-4build1 is to be installed
Comment 2 Jonathan Riddell 2016-09-06 09:24:41 UTC
2.9.3 in yakkety works fine, just needs a recompile for neon
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qscintilla2/2.9.3+dfsg-3
Comment 3 Thomas.Meschede 2016-09-14 08:45:53 UTC
its a more general problem as you can not even install libqt5scintilla2-12v5 directly:

 sudo apt install libqt5scintilla2-12v5
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

Depends: libqt5gui5 (>= 5.0.2) but it is not going to be installed or

Depends: libqt5printsupport5 (>= 5.0.2) but it is not going to be installed
