(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: knode Version: KDE 2.2.1 Severity: wishlist Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified I currently subscribe to lots of very low traffic groups and its a nuisance that knode's next message feature takes me to groups that have no new messages. Could an option be added to next message/ignore thread to take you to the next unread message in any group skipping empty groups inbetween. The will allow me to rattle though news much faster as each next command will bring up a new message to read rather than lots of blank screens Thanks John (Submitted via bugs.kde.org)

This shouldn't be so hard me thinks.. But it's really a necessary feature. If you have tons of groups the current way isn't usable.
It's just a modification to make the space button skip groups that has no unread articles...Hope this is added soon. :)
Created attachment 18387 [details] Patch that solve the issue. That bug really annoyed me a lot. So I just wrote a patch to fix it. Here it is.
Has this patch been applied? Is KDE 4 still suffering of this issue?
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
