KDE5 has problems with intel drivers, after wake from suspend to ram on various computers with intel graphics the compositing is broken and screen flickers.
Ubuntu 16.04.1
64bit
Macbook Air 4,2

please provide output of:
qdbus org.kde.KWin /KWin supportInformation

In case you are using the xorg-intel driver consider switching to xorg-modesettings driver.
