I have a dual screen setup. 
When I click "leave" on one desktop , the logout effect kicks in but always on the "other" screen, while keeping its geometry for the screen on which I clicked.


A picture being worth a thousand words, Photo27 (case 1)  happens when I click leave on the screen to the right (the one of which you can see a flame in the middle).
Photo28 (case 2) happens when I click leave on the screen to the left.
This happens every time.

If you think this may be fixed in 5.8, I will install the beta when it comes out.

Plasma 5.8 comes with a new logout screen which is shown on every screen.
