Description theglenturret 2016-08-29 19:09:55 UTC
I'm using Skanlite v. 2.0
The Program starts normal.
Preview runs normal.
Using "Scanning" returns the answer "Invalid Argument"

Starting Skanlite with now Preview and directly using Scanning runs normal (but it's not fine without having a preview).

OS: openSuSE Tumbleweed
Scanner: HP Laserjet Pro 200 color M276nw
xsane runs normal

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Starting Skanlite
2. Pressing the Preview Button
3. Pressing the Scan Button

Actual Results:
Starting the program and pressing the preview Button works fine.
Afterwards using the scan button gives the error "Invalid Argument" -- nothing happens

Starting skanlite without using the preview but using the scan button works fine. But there is no possibility to adjust something.

Sorry wrong bug number :(
Comment 3 Kåre Särs 2017-01-21 19:50:40 UTC
Sorry for not answering earlier.

It is a problem specific to the backend (HPAIO)

To get more debug info could you run skanlite with debug environment variable set in the terminal?

SANE_DEBUG_HPAIO=16 skanlite

I'm not 100% sure about the environment variable. If you don't get any extra printouts it is wrong...

Can you then post the output here?
