Capture does not work when a right click menu is open

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open dolphin and right click on any folder
2.press printscreen keyboard key
3.

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens

Expected Results:  
specctacle take the screenshot

This is an X11 bug. This bug has several security implications in general but cannot be fixed because of X11's architecture.

Wayland will fix it (TM).

I am currently experiencing this bug on my computer.
I am very new to linux, so forgive my ignorance, but is this bug on a list to ever be resolved?  Or will I have to upgrade to something called "Wayland" as the previous comments suggest?
