Description Guo Yunhe 2016-08-22 14:46:20 UTC
Sometimes I want to open two applications: Kate for edit code and Git-cola for version management.

But when you open applications one by one, the full screen application menu will lose focus when some application window is just opened. You can still see the full screen application dashboard but cannot click any icons.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open full screen application dashboard (app list)
2. Click and open one application in the menu. The application should have a long enough start-up time (> 3 seconds), like Firefox, Thunderbird, LibreOffice, Kate.
3. Very quickly open full screen application dashboard again before the first application window appear.
4. After the first application window appear behind the full screen application dashboard, click other application icons.

Actual Results:
Cannot click and open another application because the focus have been lost.

Expected Results:
Full screen launcher should always have the focus, no matter whether other application opened or not.

I think I fixed this long ago ... can you check with 5.7?

I find the problem disappear in 5.7. Thanks!
