- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Since installing 16.04 I've noticed that there a lot of bugs with KDE 5. Sessions not saving, desktop not saving (between reboots).

For this bug I was rapidly checking each setting and doing this causes a crash. Some notes:
- On the SDDM panel the example (picture of monitor with sample SDDM theme) it sometimes does not render, so you see a black screen, when you try to move to another setting item like 'Desktop Session' it will not display
- I had expierenced the above error, and Settings Crashed
- I chose to restart the application, and it seems that somewhere the old session is still running because when it restarts it shows that it's the second session open (not sure if this crash reporter window is holding the crashed System Settings window open)

The System Settings window has crashed several times, but it is not always repeatable.

I installed 16.04 from an upgrade from 14.04, and this machine has older configuration settings on it from older KDE installs, but worked perfectly under 14.04. Seems like the upgrade to 16.04 broke several .configure and .kde settings.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
