Description Mister Glaceon 2016-08-15 10:21:46 UTC
Before I start, I'm grateful the canvas bug I reported last time was fixed! You guys are awesome, but there's still one last thing: The colors darkening on the canvas from that bug is still present. (As shown by the screenshot; the navigation pane shows the canvas' true colors.)

This isn't bad for sketching, but for coloring things, it slowly proves to be cumbersome when I have to reload the tab for proper color values. If this can be addressed, or if this is a problem on my end, I can fully switch to Krita 3.0! I love this program so much and it's great to see how far it has come since I started using it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new canvas in Krita
2. Switch virtual desktops
3. Return to the virtual desktop Krita is on

Actual Results:
Colors are darker than usual.

Expected Results:
Left the colors unmodified.

Sorry for having missed this report... Is this still happening? If so, what desktop are you using? And what graphics card and driver?

More apologies on my part for not replying back; forgot I even opened this bug report.

This bug was occurring on Ubuntu 14.04's default desktop environment, Unity, on an AMD A10-7800 APU. However, I since switched over to KDE on that same OS, and recently, I performed a clean upgrade of Kubuntu 18.04. (Currently enjoying Krita 4.1.3! Thanks for all your hard work, everyone!)

Now, the bug not only no longer affects me, I could not test any attempts to fix it. No one should still be using Ubuntu 14.04, anyway, I only got away with it for as long as I did thanks to app images.

From what I understand, this bug does not affect newer versions of Unity, and has never happened on KDE, for me, so at this point, I consider this bug report irrelevant.

You can safely mark this old bug report as NOT A BUG or RESOLVED. Have a nice evening!
