Description Mikhail Krasilnikov 2016-08-15 07:07:44 UTC
BQM by default uses file saving settings that does not match digiKam settings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open digiKam settings dialog
2. Change some file saving settings, e. g. set JPEG quality to 20, TIFF compressing on and so on.
3. Save settings.
4. Open BQM, "Saving settings" tab in "Queue options" (I don't know original English captions, this is my translation).

Actual Results:
Default settings, like 75 JPEG quality, TIFF compression off.

Expected Results:
Settings should match global ones.

in Setup/Saving Image header you can read :

Image Editor: Settings for Saving Image Files
Set default configuration used to save images with the image editor

This is for Image Editor, not BQM.

And how can I set default saving settings for BQM? Or I should set them up every time?

You can save different workflows. It saves all settings of the used tools and the BQM settings. With just one double click on the saved workflow all settings are restored.

OK, I can create empty workflow with desired settings. Thanks for this workaround.
