Description SteveK 2016-08-14 11:38:02 UTC
The Standard Menu and Application Launcher menu in plasma desktop use the colour scheme set for Applications in systemsettings rather than the colour scheme of the current plasma theme. I think it would be more appropriate to follow the plasma colour scheme.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Desktop Theme to Breeze Dark.
2. Set Application Colour Scheme to Breeze.

Actual Results:
Desktop Menus use Application colour settings.

Expected Results:
Desktop Menus use Desktop colour settings.

It's intended. Same for the config dialogs.

Maybe we'll revisit it at some point.

Thanks for the advice. Whilst I accept that it's a design decision, and therefore a WONTFIX, I still find it odd that the kicker/kickoff and desktop toolbox menus use the plasma colour scheme. Just observing the point that menus use different colour schemes on the desktop. Dialogs open an application window, so that doesn't seem so odd.
