Looks like the clip monitor now interprets a click and drag as a click as well. It's annoying to have the clip monitor start to play unexpectedly, especially when working on the timeline. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.select a clip in the project bin to load it into the clip monitor. 2.Select a region on in the clip 3.Drag to the timeline Actual Results: Clip starts playing in the Clip Monitor Expected Results: The clip monitor to not play the video unless the mouse event is a click only.
I confirm this with today's build.
Still an issue as of 2016-09-06. This should be a very easy one to fix. Dragging a clip segment from the clip monitor should not make the clip monitor video play. Basically, a click and drag in the clip monitor is treated like a click in the clip monitor, and that should not be the case.
Cannot reproduce. Might depend on the Qt version or Desktop environment. Can you tell me if you are running a gnome session and which Qt version you have?
Using gnome with: KDE Frameworks 5.25.0 Qt 5.7.0
Same versions of KDE frameworks and QT, but running a KDE desktop here.
