Description Stefano 2016-08-09 17:06:45 UTC
When viewing the faces to detect, if you select only on item you'll get in lower-left corner a counting of the current album items over the detected faces, which is not useful and misleading: for example, "DSC03254.JPG (1684 of 2017)" where 1684 is the number of images in the album and 2034 is the total number of faces to detect among the collection.

If you select two images, it correctly gives "2/2017 items selected".

Reproducible: Always

The counter differs, when more than one face is detected per image. I do not really see it as a problem.

Ok, but the first is a number related to a single album, in a multi-album
view... not very meaningful.

Hi Stefano and happy new year,

Can you reproduce the problem with digiKam 7.5.0 pre-release AppImage bundle for
Linux available here :

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

Best regards

@Stefano

digiKam 8.0.0 is out. This entry still valid with this release ?

Best regards

@Stefano,

What's about this file using current 8.2.0 AppImage Linux bundle ? It's
reproducible ?

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

Note: bundle is now based on Qt 5.15.11 and KDE framework 5.110.

Thanks in advance
