I use auto mount via /etc/fstab: # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a # device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices # that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5). # # <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass> # / was on /dev/sda10 during installation UUID=003e52f6-8be3-4ec4-9f5f-f32f535781b1 / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1 # swap was on /dev/sda8 during installation UUID=cc120700-1d42-4dd4-ad96-cbfe828d155b none swap sw 0 0 # Documents UUID=3241E589976748DC /media/destructor/Documents ntfs defaults 0 0 # Media UUID=C166AF3E6FA84D2A /media/destructor/Media ntfs defaults 0 0 #Reserve UUID=57240A7655E34D71 /media/destructor/Reserve ntfs defaults 0 0 So after start my linux I can not see in panel "places" my drives. I was forced to add drives as folder (you can see this on attached screenshot). Also it exists problem with dialog window "open file" http://joxi.ru/bmok75NcMKzWLm Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Do auto mount drives via /etc/fstab 2.Open Dolphin 3.Open Firefox mozilla. Go to setings - > set folder for downloading files Actual Results: I can not select drive I am forced go to path via address line on top of window
Does this reproduce with a version of dolphin that uses KDE Frameworks 5? You're using KDE 4 stuff that's been unsupported for years.
Hello everybody! Only looser waits resolving problems during 2 years. Therefore I change KDE on LXDE and I am happy. Simple the best!
You could also change distros and use one that provides KDE software that isn't 3+ years out of date. :)
