When I set the vertical alignment of my two screens in kscreen to be not vertical aligned (because my real two monitors are not), the following happens: - One screen is turned off and in the other I see the bottom part of the desktop on the top of the screen and viceversa, and then it's impossible to interact with plasma - When I logout and login from KDE I get a black screen with only the mouse pointer visible. The mouse pointer is snapped on one edge of the screen and can only be moved vertically. To solve I need to delete all the kscreen configurations from shell (probably there is only one that is corrupted) and login again. Could you test this against 5.8 (or git master, Neon dev/unstable or openSUSE tumbleweed with latest builds)? We've fixed a number of problems that could lead to your symptoms. If problems persist, please clean out ~/.local/share/kscreen/kscreen.log, reproduce the problem, and attach this log to this bugreport. Thanks for helping to isolate this problem.
I can try to download a Neon image and test it. Is it ok? Should I choose the stable branch or unstable branch version of the developer edition?
Tested with KDE Neon live image branch stable and the bug seems to not be present.
Thanks for confirming and testing!
