Description Nolaan 2016-08-04 06:26:29 UTC
In Firefox or Chrome I cannot paste the clipboard if it contains file://file/path

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ctrl-C or right click copy a file in Dolphin
2. Crtl-v in a file dialog
3.

Actual Results:
Nothing pasted

Expected Results:
At least the content of the clipboard

But it works in Konsole with Ctrl-shift-v

Input bars

None of those work when you CTRL-v
Comment 3 Christoph Feck 2016-08-11 11:11:11 UTC
Those are input lines of the browser, not that of the file dialog. Please report this issue to the bug tracker of the browser developers.

Nolaan thanks for the bug report. I've just tested by copying a text file and pasting into the address bar in Vivaldi (a Chromium based browser).

It pastes the file address as you wanted.

Are you able to please confirm if this issue is still affecting you or if this bug report can be marked resolved, thanks.
