I love dolphin. However, the zoom slider ought to work as follows. When NOT in "Preview" mode (99% of the time), then I am reading text information. However, the zoom slider only increases the icon size and does not increase the text font size. This is nonsensical. Note: The "system font" as default makes sense. However, there are often times where I would like to quickly increase the text size via the slider bar to improve readability. Enormous icons next to small text is ridiculous. On the rare occasion that I happen to be using "Preview" mode, which is essentially only when I'm browsing pictures outside of Digikam or Gwenview, then the zoom slider appropriately increases size of the preview (with no change to text). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Turn off "Preview" mode if already on. 2. Increase zoom. See icons increase in size, with no improvement to readability. Actual Results: Enormous icons. Small text (no improvement to readability) Expected Results: Improved readability by increasing text font size.

I agree, the text size should increase at the larger zoom levels. Disclosure triangles too, when you're in Details view (that's tracked by https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347590).
