Description Glitzy 2016-07-29 18:15:50 UTC
When I open a new blank document to draw I try to paint a stroke on the new document, the strokes don't show up unless you switch back and forth between the current layer and a second layer. After I try switching back and forth between layers a few times between brush strokes it eventually doesn't show any more brush strokes I put.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open up new document
2. Draw a few brush strokes (which don't show up)
3. Switch to another layer (which THEN shows brush strokes at the other drawn on layer)

Actual Results:
I went back to the other layer and the brush strokes are there but when I try to draw again it doesn't show up unless I switch back to the second layer. Eventually it stops working.

Expected Results:
I would have seen the brush strokes right away and I don't have to switch between layers.

Could you check if turning off view->instant preview fixes this issue?
