Description contramuffin 2016-07-29 07:44:11 UTC
In the middle of my drawing, I am no longer able to draw. The brush moves along with the cursor - everything works as intended - but I simply cannot put color onto the canvas. I have tried to close the program and reopen the file, but the brush again does not register the stroke. The problem appears to fix itself when I create a new project. When I switch tabs back to my original project it appears that the canvas was actually scrolled all the way to the right, which may explain why none of the strokes were drawn on the canvas. This appears to be a canvas rendering problem in which the position of the canvas is not where it is shown.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

I have OpenGL disabled. After I managed to "fix" the bug, Krita no longer differentiates between the nib of my tablet pen and the eraser of the pen. Interestingly, the first brush I tried to use when I found out I could no longer draw on the canvas was the eraser by using the back end of the tablet pen. I also remember some lag and similar effects in the canvas when I was zooming in and out with the tablet, so it may be an issue with receiving input from a tablet.

You could check if Instant preview is on and if so turn that off and see if that makes a difference.

I'm sorry but I couldn't figure out where instant preview is. Can you tell me where to find it?

To disable instant preview, uncheck: (Main menu) "View" > "Instant Preview Mode".

Instant preview cannot be related, since that doesn't work if opengl is disabled. I don't get a clear idea about the issue though from the original description.

I'm sorry, but there just isn't enough information to start working on this report.
