The Linuxversion is 64Bit SuSE 13.1, Dolphin Version 4.11.5 . internal error may happen after entering username and password or when opening a file ( with KWrite Version 4.11.5 ) or at upload / writing with Kwrite . Even if an "internal error" is reported the uploaded data might be correct. When I contacted my hosting-provider he admitted problems on his side, but meanwhile, he says, they are settled. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. start dolphin instance 2.enter ftp://... 3. ... Actual Results: Message, on pink background internal error ... asking me to submit a report Expected Results: display the folder
Similar problem here. But I can't connect at all to any server via ftp. I immediately get the "Internal Error". Sftp connections still work fine. I'm sure the problem only came up after the update to Plasma5.7.2, Applications 16.04.3 and Qt 5.7.0 last week. Dolphin is 16.04.3 too. Btw, I'm running Chakra Linux on my machine.
Forgot to mention that KDE Frameworks is 5.24.0.
BTW, can't connect in Konqueror using ftp protocol neither, whereas sftp works fine. Seems to be an issue with ftp protocol.

That is why it rather looks like a bug in this module or library than a dolphin problemto me. Knut
We are sorry that no developer responded to your report. Could you try to reproduce this behavior with a newer version of Dolphin/Frameworks? That'd be great.
Recently I did not have any problems with ftp-connections in dolphin. Sometimes and only with one particular server I can't connect via sftp. But since this works fine in konquerer I consider this problem solved. BTW, my system is up-to-date. Dophin 18.04.0 KDE Frameworks 5.45.0 Qt 5.10.1 Das xcb window system
