Application dashboard doesn't respect disable "Show recent documents" option. Also right mouse click option Recent documents → Hide recent documents doesn't work. 
This is even when I have /home/apache/.kde/share/apps/RecentDocuments
permissions to write disabled (forbiden for owner, group, other) 

This is with Recent applications active.

That's strange. Perhaps this was false alarm because now looks like Recent documents disappeared from Application dashbord.
