When saving a file with "Save as", there's an extra "." before ".ext" in the filename (..kra),(..jpg) and so on. Now while using 'Save as' to save to an already existing name, clicking on the already existing file before saving properly overwrites it but entering the same name manually will give a new file but with the ".". Strangely, using 'Save as' after clicking an existing file and changing the file format overwrites the clicked file, completely ignoring the user's selection of the different format. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Save a file 2.'Save as' with new names. 3.Save as> click on an existing file>change file type>save Actual Results: 1. Test.kra file is saved. 2. Test2..kra, Test3..psd, Test4..jpg are saved. 3. Wall.jpg (the file I clicked) gets overwritten with flattened contents of Test.kra even though I selected Krita document as file type. Expected Results: 1. Test.kra file is saved. 2. Test2.kra, Test3.psd, Test4.jpg are saved. 3. A new file Wall.kra is saved I am using Krita 3.0 64bit installation on Windows 7 Professional.
This is already fixed, but there won't be new builds till september fifth because we have only one person doing all the builds.
