Hi all I've a multimonitor setup (3 monitors) on a intel nuc (1 is on hdmi 2 are attached on the displayport using a splitter) When I unlock the session after the monitors have been put to sleep the widget and panels have migrated between monitors and some are missing. The PC is not set to sleep only the monitors go into energy save mode. If I restart plasma (killall plasmashell && kstart plasmashell) the widget are restored to the correct position). I think that somehow this could related to the order the monitors go to sleep/are wake up. Bye K. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.lock the deskop 2.wait that the monitors are put into low energy mode 3.move the mouse a log back in Actual Results: widget and panels have migrated between monitors and some are missing. Expected Results: The widget are in the same position were before locking the computer
I have the same situation on Arch with Plasma Wayland. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.83.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.12.12-zen1-1-zen (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six-Core Processor Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Radeon RX 580 Series
Hello I reproduce this bug on Wayland as well with almost the same hardware and software than Victoria. When my computer wakes-up my widgets and my wallpapers are swapped but the monitor setup itself remains correct. If I close my Plasma session and I login back, my layout is restored as expected. I could not reproduce in an Xorg session. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.84.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.13.8-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six-Core Processor Memory: 32 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Radeon RX 5600 XT
