I planned to use these two tools to keep track of time used for different projects. 3: KMail does not use a similar project concept. However I try to organise my mail in folders which to some degree corresponds to my "projects". This is not a proper solution. I'm not able to assign project names to draft letters (there will usually be five to ten letters in my draft box waiting for final input before they are sent). Assigning them to the relevant project would be wonderful. I would at any time be able to see how many hanging mails I have in given project. I do also file some letters under the "customer" otherwise it is to difficult to keep track of the total communication to major "customers". I'm not sure how related all these are. What they have in common is that they names and that they are organized in a tree structure. That seems like a fairly weak relationship. Personally, I use To Do lists, mail folders, and the time tracker each for separate things. The KArm project is already trying to address some of this, though. It includes "Import Events" and "Import To Do" functions (in CVS). They didn't work when I tried them, but they are meant to import from KOrganizer. Mark
