Description edA-qa mort-ora-y 2016-07-13 08:53:42 UTC
It is no longer possible to use the open dialog to create a new named file. This was possible in previous Kate versions; a little "New File" label would popup in the editor to indicate it is a new file.

This negatively affects the UX of Kate by no longer having this option.

Reproducible: Always
