Description Pete 2016-07-10 01:49:12 UTC
Gwenview crashes when loading multiple files. Metadata not visible even after successful load of 1 file.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.highlight 2 or more photo files
2.right click on any one of the highlighted files
3.launch gwenview

Actual Results:
see attached screenshots for errors obtained on Ubuntu 16.04

Expected Results:
I expected Ubuntu 14.04 behaviour where Gwenview loads as many files as you want and metadata is visible for any thumbnail you click on.

Thanks for reporting, but I'm afraid this is more of a problem with your installation or distribution (as indicated by the klauncher error) and not with Gwenview specifically. This feature is working fine with a current KDE Frameworks 5 + Gwenview. You could try updating your Frameworks and Gwenview version (e.g. by using KDE Neon) or asking in the Ubuntu forums for help with debugging.

Maybe the solutions mentioned in bug 343997 will fix this also in your case.
