Two Screenshots

The systray icon when there are unread messages is not shown correctly with Breeze Dark....

Same here;
I tracked problem, and the icon showed is breeze, not breeze-dark. In my case:

/usr/share/icons/breeze/actions/22/mail-mark-unread-new.svg

I guess 22 because of my screen size.

I tried to cp replace with breeze-dark icon, but with similar results, so I modificated with this one. (New icon attached)

This is not fixed.
I just tried with the latest mail.svgz from git master and the problem is still the same.

Actually, the icon is taken from the *icon* theme, not the desktop theme AFAICT (and as stated in comment#3)

And to be clear, the problem only occurs with the "Breeze" color scheme, with "Breeze Dark" everything's fine...

fixed for me (Plasma 5.20.5)
this is resolved by some time, probably can be set as resolved

Yes, meanwhile it indeed is fixed.
