Description Coacher 2016-07-09 06:02:29 UTC
Hello.

I have Gentoo amd64. kmix --version:

$ kmix --version
Qt: 4.8.7
KDE Development Platform: 4.14.21
KMix: 4.5

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make kmix display systray icon.
2. Right click on the said icon, click on 'Restore' in the context menu.

Actual Results:
Volume slider pops up at the top left corner of the screen.

Expected Results:
Volume slider pops up near systray area.

Reproducible both with and without KDE session.

If I left click on the tray icon inside KDE session, volume slider pops up near systray as expected.
Thus this isn't a dupe of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=261302

Outside of KDE session left click is still affected by https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258951

Please fix.

Here's a video of this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1UJwGQobSw

I'm using bspwm and Polybar.

Hopefully fixed. "Restore" from systray icon context menu now opens main KMix window.
Please reopen (but check not the same as bug 333803) if the main window or volume popup does not appear in the correct position.
