I have this directory tree under /mnt/e/Videos: Homeland └── Homeland 4 - LostFilm.TV [1080p] ├── Homeland.S04E01.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E02.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E03.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E04.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E05.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E06.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E07.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E08.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E09.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E10.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv ├── Homeland.S04E11.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv └── Homeland.S04E12.1080p.rus.LostFilm.TV.mkv When trying to copy this tree to a different location (another partition), Dolphin fails with an error (see attached screenshot). Dolphin is running in two panel mode. I'm copying the Homeland directory by dragging it from the right panel to the left one. This error does not appear when I copy different directories, including from the same /mnt/e/Videos directory. I can copy Homeland without errors to the intended target directory without errors in Midnight Commander. /mnt/e/Videos is on an XFS partition. Target filesystems don't seem to matter (I tried ntfs-3g and ext4). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Drag Homeland directory to a different location. Actual Results: An error appears (see the attached screenshot). Expected Results: No error should appear. Kubuntu 16.04, x86_64.

This is a bug in KIO. Please make sure to upgrade to KIO >= 5.22 (on Kubuntu, I believe you have to use the backports PPA) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 353195 ***
