I get this bug both with 2.8.0 (from Fedora 21) and 2.8.90 (from Fedora 24), although I am not sure how exactly to reproduce it. Upon starting the application, playlists work as expected, but at some point, the playback starts to skip songs. This is with track progression set to 'Random Albums', Amarok will finish an album, then jump to the middle of another one, play a couple of songs from the album (not in order, even jumping backwards), then continue with another one. Restart resolves - for a while. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set track progression to 'Random Albums' 2. Play songs Actual Results: At some points, albums no longer get all their tracks played, and the tracks that do, do not play in track number order Expected Results: All tracks from an album are played, then all tracks from another album, and so no Amarok Diagnostics General Information: Amarok Version: 2.8.90 KDE Version: 4.14.21 Qt Version: 4.8.7 Phonon Version: 4.9.0 Phonon Backend: GStreamer (4.9.0) PulseAudio: Yes Enabled Scripts: Enabled Plugins: MySQL Collection (1.0) Enabled Applets: Current Track Lyrics
Amarok doesn't play anything, so if you have any playback issues those are likely due to the phonon backend, reassigning.
