Created attachment 99826 [details] Patch Can you try this patch for plasma-workspace? I've been experiencing some issues where playback would not start at the beginning of the track or would randomly skip a few seconds. This patch has a bunch of unrelated unfinished changes of features I'll add for 5.8 but I was too lazy fiddling out the actual fix for this issue I made last week (and haven't merged yet as I wanted to test it more thorougly)
Just noticed I commented the "when player reports new position, update slider" in the patch which was part of the problem... this needs more investigation, sorry.
Did this patch ever get merged?
Kai, can you check your patch at comment #1 for changes that are not yet committed?
Kai Ping!
Is anyone able to reproduce the originally-described issue with Plasma 5.17?
