Description Zafio 2016-07-02 13:13:58 UTC
If we want to add a selection to an existing one, and we press SHIFT to do so, the cursor icon will change to canvas rotate mode, making the next selection a bit difficult as there isn't a clear "center" point.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
Selection cursor should remain visible while we are in selection mode.

Hi,

Thanks for your report. Have you by any chance rebound shortcuts for canvas rotate? Here, the rotate icon only shows up when pressing space-shift for rotate, not just shift.

Hi! I wasn't sure, but I set the canvas input settings o Krita's default and I still see the cursor pressing just Shift.

Forgot to mention this is Windows.

I'm sorry, but even on Windows, on my SP3, I cannot reproduce the issue. Maybe someone pushed a fix recently that I missed, since I'm using the latest development build from http://files.kde.org/krita/3/windows/devbuilds/

Tried that build, same thing, as long shift+mmb is set up, the cursor still appears when pressing just Shift. Anyway, if nobody else has this problem... the workaround for me is as simple as deleting shift+mmb from input settings and using shift+space combo instead.

Can you still reproduce this issue with the newest version of Krita (currently 4.1.1)? This appears to be a minor issue as you were able to simply unbind the problematic shortcut, but we of course would still like to resolve this bug completely if possible.
