When I open dolphin and click on the root folder the location bar shows two forward slashes appear representing root. Using dolphin Version 16.04.2 in openSUSE Tumbleweed. build 626 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open dolphin and click on the root folder 2. Two forward slashes appear representing root 3. I manually remove one of the forward slashes Actual Results: Two forward slashes appear representing root in the location bar. Expected Results: A single forward slash appears representing root in the location bar.

I can reproduce this.
As of Dolphin 16.12.3 and 17.08.0, this appears to have been fixed. I see only one slash.
