First of all, we greatly appreciate the effort when into making Breeze icons for KStars. It's beautiful! However, some of the icons are inappropriate. I'm attaching a screenshot with arrows at the icons we'd like to change: 1. Star: While the icon shows a single star, it would be more intuitive to check if you can multiple stars icons somehow. 2. Deep Sky Object: A circle is not representative alone. Maybe something with the shape of a galaxy (but should be different from FITSViewer icon), or nebula.. Something that clearly signifies a deep sky object. 3. Solar System: Current icon shows earth. While this is somewhat acceptable, it would be better if you can swap it with an image of a prominent recognizable solar system body like Saturn 4. Supernova: This one does not make sense at all. Supernova is a stellar explosion, no two buddies on chat. So please try to come up with something that represents this. Again all your efforts are greatly appreciated! Reproducible: Always

Hello, any update on this? I realize you guys are busy, but if there this cannot be done, then we will include our own icons in the resource file and discard breeze icons.
Hi Jasem, thanks for reporting this. I have zero knowledge about Kstar, could you please help describing the 5 actions with the wrong icons? Like "Star do...". Also, maybe you have a screenshot with the previous icons?

I already described what's wrong with the Breeze icons in my initial post. The icons do not represent the objects they are supposed to represent. The problematic icons in Breeze are (names): 1. kstars_stars 2. kstars_deepsky 3. kstars_planets 4. kstars_constellationart 5. kstars_supernovae

Created attachment 101356 [details] kstars screenshot this bug isn't fixed cause I need some input for the constellation icons - kstars_clines show the constellation lines of Big Dipper - kstars_cnames say Ori is the big dipper part of orion? if no, I'd like to add the acronym for big dipper (-> how is it called? I can write 3 letters) - kstars_constellationart I know wrong icon. I'd like to draw the big dipper (need some time) the final result should be to see first the lines than the name and than the artwork of the same element (big dipper). is big dipper also in the artwork view of kstars? if yes, please send a screenshot.
Thanks for the great work! - kstars_clines - It is fine - kstars_cnames - Well, it's Ursa Major. Maybe it can be kept as is, Orion is a completely different constellation, but the idea is to convey "click here for text of constellations" - kstars_constellationart - Well, it doesn't have to be big dipper. It can be any shape that convey "image". For example, a bow and arrow is sufficient (e.g. http://www.clipartbest.com/cliparts/xig/Kea/xigKea64T.png) Only thing remaining is supernova, the icon doesn't convey that at all, a super nova is a stellar explosion, so a star exploding into oblivion.

I just switched to Breeze dark theme and the old icons are still there. Can you please also update the dark theme icons as well?
