Description Michael 2016-07-01 07:56:46 UTC
When using the search function and typing "example" it will find "example",
but it will not find "e x a m p l e".
Many OCR software do recognize words written in capital letters as words with spaces.
Or some just do mistakes.
It would be great if the search function also considers spaces within a word.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use a document with spaces within a word e.g. "ex ample"
2. try to search for "example" by using the search function (Ctrl+F)
3. it will not find the word

Actual Results:
it will not find the word

Expected Results:
it should find the word

Adobe Reader for example does find words with spaces within it.
Thanks

This is an very important feature. At least Okular needs a way of ignoring space on searching. It really helps when reading OCR-generated documents
