Description Hering2007 2016-06-25 10:31:02 UTC
I am running Kaffeine with Arch (4.6.2-1-ARCH x86_64 GNU/Linux) and a "TECHNOTREND TT-connect S2-4600 USB-Box" (DVBS/S2).
Under Kaffeine v1.3-git almost everything works fine: I get all the channels but the CPU usage tends to use one core at 100% always.
When I update to Kaffeine v2.0.3 and try to scan for channels it won't recognize most of the channels anymore. Also when I try to manually copy the scanfile.dvb from the former installation it will not recognize it.
Downgrading makes it work again though.

Here are some of the files to compare:
Kaffeine 2.0.3 Log: http://pastebin.com/5ZX9KZED
Kaffeine 1.3-git Log: http://pastebin.com/dsX7QEBR

Did I miss anything here or is it a bug?
I mean I could live with it if only the channels which get lost were unnecessary ones but they aren't..

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Scan channels on Kaffeine v1.3-git (DVBS/S2)
2. Scan channels on Kaffeine v2.0.3 (DVBS/S2)
3. Compare the lists

Actual Results:
I get less channels than with an older version (1.3-git)

Expected Results:
Atleast the same channels should be found with both versions.

This was a bug related to passing parameters for DVB-S/S2 to libdvb5. This was already solved at the -git version. I should be releasing a new version this week with the fix.
