Description Volker Wysk 2016-06-20 16:48:29 UTC
In the Browse view, the length of file names is limited to one line. Everything which doesn't fit in is cropped. It would be better it you could specify a maximum number of lines in the settings. It would be even better if text was taken out in the middle of the name, replacing it with "...", instead of at the end.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open a folder with a long image file name in it.

Actual Results:
The file name gets cropped at the end.

The version as reported by Help -> About Gwenview is 15.12.3.

Good point. This shouldn't even need to be an option though; multiple lines should just be shown by default, just like how Dolphin does it.
