Trying to disable several system-wide fonts at once makes the backend crash. One font is disabled the others are not. Probably related to bug #349673. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. kcmshell5 fontinst 2. right-click on a group of system-wide fonts 3. click on disable 4. type your password Actual Results: Backend crashes (segfault). The message is: "backend died, but it has been restarted. Please try again". One font is disabled the others are not. Expected Results: All the selected fonts disabled with no errors. Using openSUSE Leap 42.1.

I have just struck this bug myself in trying to disable many foreign language fonts following the documentation here: https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/kde-workspace/kcontrol/fontinst/index.html I get the exactly the same behaviour as the original poster has described. My system-- Kubuntu 18.04 64-bit KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0 Qt Version 5.9.5
