I'd like to propose a built-in grouping of different types of fonts - deco fonts, text and display, scripts, handwritings, etc. I know such a distinction would always be quite arbitrary, but at least there could be these groups: -Serifs (all serif typefaces with at least 4 different fonts - regular,bold,italic,bold-italic) - Sanserifs (all sanserif typefaces with at least 4 different fonts) - Scripts - pictograms (like dingbats etc.) Optional groups: -small caps -decorative fonts -header fonts -handwriting etc. kcm_fontinst could have a preconfigured list of the most common fonts used in Linux systems, which would then be overruled by any user configuration. Reproducible: Always
