Boot screen

I just downloaded the neon-useredition-20160609-00826-amd64.iso which is the current edition of the ISO. Created a virtual machine and on boot I get this error. Screenshot attached.

"Created a virtual machine"

In which application type? And is it 64bit?
Comment 2 Daniel Kreuter 2016-06-10 13:56:53 UTC
A virtual machine with VMWare Player.

Settings: 4GB RAM, 8 CPU cores, rest is default.

and yes amd64 means 64 bit.
Comment 3 Harald Sitter 2016-06-10 14:13:46 UTC
What I meant is does your VM virtualize 64bit.

At any rate please use KVM or virtualbox. We neither test nor support vmware.
