Feather selection blurs the current selection. Its keyboard shortcut is Shift+F6. In 2.9 if you put in a radius of 100 you would get a nice, smooth, long blurred transition. In 3.0 even if you put in a large number you only get a small amount of feathering. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make a selection. 2. Press Shift+F6 to feather it. Put a large number in the parameter field. 3. Paint across the border and note the small transition area. Actual Results: The transition is much smaller than the number I put in. Expected Results: The transition should be the same size as the number I put in. I'm using the 3.0 release appimage on Ubuntu 16.04. In the meantime I'm using a big soft eraser brush to get the large transitions that I need for my work.
